Our beans have grown well. We've transplanted them from their CD greenhouses into small pots. Cleo will look after them in her cold frame during the Winter months.

We planted beans in a CD case so that we could watch them grow and identify different parts of a plant.

We had a special visitor to our classroom this morning. Padre Tom came to share a wonderful story entitled The Tin Forest.

We are enjoying making Viking-style brooches. We've looked carefully at Viking artefacts and designed patterns of our own. Now we are sticking pasta, split peas and lentils onto our background shape to recreate our patterns and next we will spray our brooches so they look like they're made of metal.

We looked at flip book animations this week. Great fun!
