Seeing the smiles, laughter, and festive cheer was truly unforgettable even despite the unfortunate British winter weather.

    We couldn't end the new year without a big mention to the fantastic PTA at Colerne Primary! The Current team step down from their rolls in August. During their time on the PTA they have raised a huge amount of £41,555.91!!! This has made the all the children experience at Colerne Primary so much more enriching.

  • Year 5/6 Cricket.

    On Thursday, a group of 8-year 5 & 6 boys and girls went to Corsham Cricket Club to play in a tournament against 4 other local primary schools. 

    We won every game we played. Our 3rd match against Corsham Primary was a very close result. 

    We came first overall. It was a fantastic afternoon with lots of runs scored and Archie even managed to hit 2 balls outside of the park.

  • Year 5/6 girls Cricket event.

    On Tuesday, a group of 8 year 6 girls attended a cricket tournament at Chippenham cricket club. We played 4 matches. We won 3 of those matches which meant we got to play in the semi-final. We played against a school called Cudwood, unfortunately we lost by 3 runs, so we placed joint 3rd overall. 

    The whole day was so much fun, and we all celebrated with a sweet treat and watched the final.
