FRESCO 100 Club

Friends of Colerne C.E. School

Dear Parents

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to FRESCO, Friends of Colerne C.E. School.  We are a charitable group made up of parents and teachers and we meet in the school, usually every six weeks.

One of the aims of FRESCO is to raise money for any ‘extras’ that the school may need; sports kit, digital cameras, raised vegetable beds and a pantomime performance from a theatre company are just a few of the things we have been able to give the school this year.

We organise the Summer Fete in conjunction with Armed Forces Day and a Christmas Fair but we also like to organise other fun events for the children, amongst other things we have discos and Bingo!

We like to invite the wider village community to our school; we ask other village groups if they would like to raise money for themselves at our events and we encourage people not directly connected to our school to come along and enjoy them.  Our Village Scarecrow Hunt was an event that a lot of the village seemed to enjoy and we now make this an annual event.

If you would like to find out more about FRESCO, you would be very welcome at one of our meetings.  You can come along to just one meeting, or join us on a more regular basis.  Everyone is always welcome.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me on the number below.

Kind regards.
