Mrs. Holden, an ambassador for the charity Digitall, champions the organisation’s mission to empower children and teachers with essential digital skills, confidence and creativity through hands-on coding workshops and training.
As part of an ITV Westcountry News feature exploring efforts to bridge the digital divide, she was invited to highlight the exciting coding projects taking place at Colerne C of E Primary School.
In November, the ITV crew visited the school to film the children in action. They interviewed Mrs. Holden alongside pupils Millie and Dominick, and captured a workshop inspired by cutting-edge scientific research on cosmic rays. During the session, pupils learned how to use Micro:bits to detect and measure the intensity of beams of light—bringing real-world science and technology to life in the classroom.
