Welcome to Colerne Church of England Primary School PTA!
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to FRESCO, Friends of Colerne Church of England Primary School. We are a separate registered charity established to advance the education of pupils in Colerne.
Parent, guardians and carers of pupils currently attending Colerne, and all staff, are automatically members of the PTA. These members elect a committee each year to oversee the day to day running of the PTA and to coordinate its activities.
What we do?
Our main aim is to raise valuable funds for the school by organising fundraising events.
Our two biggest events are the summer fair in conjunction with Armed Forces Day and a pamper evening. We also arrange other fun events such as school discos, a Christmas fair and a fun run! More recently, FRESCO has established a 100 club which provides extra regular funds for our charity.
Where does the money raised go?
We help to make memories for the children to support their curricular activities!
All funds raised go towards the education of Colerne Church of England pupils and enhancing their school experience by providing extra activities for them to enjoy such as contributing towards the new school outdoor play area and paying for experiences such as the science dome, pantomime and circus. We also like to invite the wider village community to enjoy our events.
How can you help?
There are many ways to get involved with FRESCO and new ideas for events are always welcome. You can take part in as much or as little as suits you. If you would like to find out more about FRESCO, you would be very welcome to join us at one of our meetings. Everyone is welcome!
