  • Au Revoir Rev. Janet

    Fri 18 Feb 2022

Rev. Janet has been an integral part of our school for 10 years, but is now moving on to pastures new. To show our thanks for all she has done for our school, our Celebration Council held a small tea party where gifts and cards were given and tea and cake enjoyed. The whole school then greeted her, out on the school field, with 3 cheers and a fond farewell. Thank you Rev. Janet. You have been, and will remain, a cherished member of our school community.

  • Wiltshire Year of Reading Award - Silver!

    Fri 18 Feb 2022

In September 2021 Wiltshire Council launched its ‘Wiltshire Year of Reading’ award scheme, the aim of which was to encourage people of all ages to ‘delve into reading’. As a school we signed up to this award scheme with gusto and are pleased to announce we have already received the Silver Award!

We are now working towards the Gold Award. What can you do help us achieve this? Read! Read with your children, to your children; listen to them read. Our aim as a school is to develop a life long love of reading for our    children, but we can only do this with your support.

We will shortly be the proud owners of a new collection of age specific books for our children to borrow and bring home, which support our curriculum. More details about this very soon!
