Athletics Festival at The Corsham School!
On Thursday 9th May, a year 5/6 team of four boys and four girls went to Corsham School for an Athletics Festival, which saw us finish in third place! Whilst the sun shone, the athletes took part in five events: a 600m run, a 75m sprint, foam javelin, standing long jump and ended with an exciting relay race! Not only did the children demonstrate real skill and talent, they also displayed real determination and a healthy blend of competitiveness! They were supportive and encouraging to both their team mates and fellow athletes throughout the afternoon and represented our school superbly!
