STEAM Museum trip
Muckle Class and Longstone Class enjoyed a day at the Museum of the Great Western Railway for a WW2 themed day to enhance our learning about life on the Home Front. We had two workshops exploring the role of women in the Second World War and the experiences of evacuees, learning more about what it would have been like to be evacuated during the war. The adults all enjoyed role playing host families and were rather picky about the children they chose!
